This 17 year old female patient was referred to McLain Surgical Arts by a local surgeon in hopes that Dr. McLain could improve her facial balance.  Having been born with congenital facial asymmetry, this pleasant young girl and her family had already undergone several facial surgeries to improve her appearance.  After consultation with Dr McLain, the patient decided to go forward with his surgical recommendations which included custom facial implants, fat transfer to the right face, left buccal fat pad excision and rhinoplasty.  The surgery was performed in the hospital and the patient was planned to stay overnight.  However, she felt so well postoperatively, she chose to go home the same day.  After a 2 week recovery, she returned to her normal daily life and is now thrilled with the dramatic improvement in her facial symmetry.
