This 18 year old Air Force Academy student sought Dr. McLain for his expertise in rhinoplasty.  She was unhappy with the width of her nose as well as the nasal hump.  She had an in depth consultation with Dr. McLain where she was able to view before and after photos and discuss what her treatment options and expectations were.  She elected to proceed with open rhinoplasty.  Dr. McLain slightly reduced her nasal hump and narrowed her nasal tip.  She reported the recovery was almost painless and is thrilled with her natural looking results.  The small incision on the columella will become nearly invisible in the coming weeks.  An elegant rhinoplasty result leads to more focus on the eyes and smile (areas of facial emotion) and takes focus away from the nose.
