This 40 year old dental assistant sought Dr. McLain for his expertise in dermal fillers.  She was interested in lip augmentation, as she was unhappy with the deflated look of her lips and the lack of definition of her lip lines.  She elected to have HA filler applied to her upper and lower lips lines as well as within the vermillion of her lip.  The benefit of this type of filler is its ease of use, lack o f allergic potential, long lasting effects as well as the abilty to dissovle it away should the patient desire.  The procedure was done with a small amount of local anesthetic that made the filler application painless.  She was thrilled with her results.
