It is important to keep in mind that the swelling of the nose after rhinoplasty may last up to one year, making it tricky to see the ultimate results until that period has passed. Depending on the extent of the procedure, the swelling in different areas of the nose may subside at different rates – for example, the bridge might be less swollen before the tip. After the swelling has completely disappeared, you can then think of having another rhinoplasty if you remain dissatisfied with the results.
